• Description:
• It is built by Maratha Emperor Shivaji Maharaj. Prachitgad is a fort of the times of Lord Shiva.On the way to Prachitgad, in the jungle, there is an old palace,rather remains of this palace and an 'well' of Rani Kalavati.This 'well' is well built with very fine carvings. There is a deep valley while climbing Prachitgad. To reach Prachitgad passing this valley there are several ladders made of iron.On the fort there are stables,an old temple,'tofa',at the same time caves which has a small water pond.Valmiki to Kandhar Falls and ahead to Prachitgad,this journey you have to do through the Table Land. During this journey you get to see wild animals for sure.
