• Devgad fort is situated in sindhudurg.The fort structure and walls are intact and will give you glimpse of the Maratha naval power during Shivaji Maharaj's regime. The great Vijaydurg fort is near Devgad and is said to be built by Raja Bhoj about 800 years ago.
  In Devgad, one can visit a windmill plateu. Though the windmills are not in operating condition, one can have a panoramic view of Devgad beach, Devgad fort and stretch of Arabian sea up to Kunkeshwar from here. A magnificent sunset can be seen from this point.
